U4: 12:00-1:00 PM
U5: 1:00-2:00 PM
U6 & U8: 2:00-3:00 PM
U10 & U12: 3:00-4:00 PM
U13 to U18: 3:30-4:00 PM

Players will be receiving calls from the coaches by May 10, 2010.

Due to the terrible weather on Saturday, All Star team tryouts were cancelled. They have been tentatively rescheduled to the following week:

U8 Boys – Saturday, May 15th at 3:00 PM
GA Wright ‘T’ Field

U10 Girls – Saturday, May 15th at 4:00 PM
GA Wright ‘T’ Field

U12 Boys – Saturday, May 15th at 5:00 PM

Just to let you know that renewal letters are going out this week to referees in the mail with their user name and password so they can log onto the system and register for the 2010 season.

The OSA will be releasing the url for the registration system on the OSA website as well as release the off-line forms for those people that wish to register via email. For those wishing to register off-line they should note that there will be a minimum 2-3 week delay in processing their registration over those who register on-line.

It is important to note that referees will not be able to register on-line unless they have their username and password so they will have to wait for their letter. We ask that a referee wait at least a couple of weeks before they start calling the OSA if they did not get their letter as it could take some time for the letter to reach them.

In addition the portal has the forget password feature. If a referee forgets their password they can enter their user name and a new password will be sent to them. This will only work if the referee knows their user name and if their current email address is on file with the OSA so that the password can be emailed to them.

If you know of any Referee who may of moved in the last year please forward the new address to Klaus Baumfeld as they may not receive there renewal if OSA has their old address.

To All Alliston Soccer Club Members:

First, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

As you know, a Special General Meeting to discuss and vote upon the Alliston Soccer Club joining South Simcoe United was held at the request of members who attended our Annual General Meeting in October.  At the SGM, a representative of SSU, Gord Fisher, informed the members present about what SSU represents and what they offer the players who register with them for Competitive Teams.

After a question and answer period, a vote was held and the members present voted in favour of the Alliston Soccer Club joining SSU.  Therefore, effective with the beginning of 2010, the Alliston Soccer Club will no longer have Competitive Teams.  Our focus will be on the development of our House League players and our All Star Teams.

Our House League U10 and U12 players will be playing the same loop as last year, with limited travel, and our House League U13 to U18 players will be playing in the Simcoe League as they always have.

The Board of Directors has a lot of new faces and we are confident that this year we can provide a great summer of soccer.  I would like to thank everyone for the hard work that they have done in the past to keep our club going, and hope that the members of this club will support us as they have always done.
